NDGM's Field Demonstration 2012

Been busy fixing the kids' costumes for their field demonstration at school.  Oh, no, I didn't made them! :)
Ate's costume
Kuya's costume
I'm not sure if I'm glad that Andi danced at the front or not, we had a hard time trying to take a good picture of her or even take a video..  We were too far from her..  But anyway, we're happy that she's happy and excited about their dance, soo proud of her!!
i love this picture!
Look for Ate..  They danced to the song Papi of Jennifer Lopez.

happy ate!
Kuya's Dance (Katy Perry's Fireworks), didn't know where he's place was gonna be, so I was far from him again!
After their field demonstration, we headed straight to the rides and games!
wedges, very useful when I was watching the kids perform!
caterpillar!!
A break from school work was fun for them at first but they got tired..  They wanted their lessons back!  Hehe!

1st Quarter Assessment 2011

We’re so excited for the first quarter assessment of the kids..  Oh well, scared and excited, we’re not sure of what to expect..  I just hope I won’t hear their teachers complaining about my kids..

We started with Andi, we’re not really expecting anything..  But her teacher told us her rank at school..  She’s number 1!!!!!!!!  Hubby and I were teary eyed for we’re not expecting that, a good conduct was okay but number 1?  We’re on CLOUD 9!!  J  Her teachers are so proud of her too, we didn’t even heard anything unpleasant from her teachers, she’s so different at school compared to how she is at home.  She’s not shy, she always participates at school, dances well, gets along with her classmates well.  We’re so PROUD!

After Andi, we went up to Kian’s room.  1st Honor!!!  (We we’re kinda’ hoping for that, but no pressure for Kian).  Her teacher told us he’s her assistant, like Kian always tries to finish fast with his seatwork and then asks his classmates if anyone needs his help,There’s just one problem, Kian’s starting to speak Tagalog more often, and his teacher relies on him to get his classmates into speaking English.  His teacher said that it’s like he’s trying to let everyone understand what he’s trying to say, so he speaks Tagalog, but changes into English when asked to.  Awww.. so nice..  So PROUD!

After their assessments, we went to Kumon for Kian's exam, waited for almost 20 minutes.  He got a perfect score!  He'll be taking the Free trial for two weeks, hopefully he'll like it so we can enroll him.  He's lovin' math.

Seeing the results of my kids at school makes me feel fulfilled as a Mom, we won't put pressure on them, we'll still let them enjoy school and support them all the way! :)
