Malling on a Thursday

Got our toe nails done at California Nails and Day Spa yesterday.  Their pedicure costs P245.00, so sulit!  'Cause it comes with foot spa but you'll add P25.00 if you want to use Orly nail polish.  California Nails & Day Spa follows the California State Board of Cosmetology standards, meaning that they follow the strictest and highest standards for sanitation and sterilization. And I like the way they clean nails because if they give you their senior staff you won't feel any pain, but if they give you a newbie, just like what my hubby got, naku! kawawa naman.. :(  He's hurting and complaining na pla and he was just told "sandali lang po, sir"..  While I, was relaxed and comfy just right beside him..  :(

Meanwhile, the kids were at G-Box, at the playroom and then at Tom's World.  Then, they remembered Vans with Yo Gabba Gabba.  They still don't have bigger sizes.. Kian got sad, he really wants to get one..  Their biggest size fits a 4 year old (size 10).. He wants this one;
Dear Vans,

You're making my son sad, we've been going to different malls just to check for himself if you really don't have bigger sizes.  Please include bigger sizes in this design.  It would make him very happy.

Thank You.

Elegant Secrets :REVIEW

Thanks to Ensogo, we were able to try Elegant Secrets at Timog Avenue, Brgy. Laging Handa Quezon City.  We bought 2 vouchers for a foot spa, foot scrub, pedicure and 30-minute massage for only Php250.00 from the original price of Php600.00.

The front desk was alright, it was dim but it sets the mood.  Then, they took us to our chairs, the place was kind of messy and crammed with all their stuff, it was not a relaxing place.  It's a good thing they took us to another room, it has 4 very relaxing chairs, but they didn't have enough magazines though.  I like to read magazines while having my foot spa.

It was worth our Php250.00, but not if we bought them for Php600.00.  The experience was okay, it was just described with lots of treatments but it was just a foot spa with pedicure.  California Nails and Day Spa can do this too, their pedicure has a little scrubbing too I think for only Php240.00.  The receptionist was accommodating but I didn't like the girl that did my treatment, she was always looking at my feet with dismay.. It was kind of rude 'cause she didn't even told what was bothering her, she just told my nail technician her problem.  Oh well, i didn't bother asking her what was it, 'cause we're not coming back.  California is better.

I asked hubby to take some pictures;

They use China Glaze nail polish.

My First Spa Experience

I'm not really fond of massages 'cause I'm very ticklish!  I'm worried that I may not enjoy the treatments because of that..  But thank God hubby convinced me to at least experience it, 'cause I was complaining about my back, legs, and not having anytime to pamper ourselves because our yaya suddenly went on vacation!

So at last!  Our yaya surprised us after 14 days of absence!  Never thought she'll ever come back!  Finally!  Our much awaited date is finally going to happen.  And so i booked ourselves to Blue Water Day Spa at Tomas Morato.  We didn't make it to our schedule though, but we still went there later.  Hubby had the athlete's massage (Php 800) and cellulite melter (Php 850)for me!  (Double purpose diba!)   We got a couple's room in which you need to add 150 pesos on top of your bill.

The Couple's Room

The place was okay, it looked like they just opened.  I forgot to take pictures of the place outside.  But the shower room inside wasn't thoroughly clean because the shampoo cover was still on the floor, and they didn't refill the soap dispenser.

I was told that the cellulite melter massage will be harder compared to other massages because they're gonna get rid of them cellulite.  But it was ok though, for my first spa experience.  Because I can only compare her with my manghihilot! hehe!  The only hilot I got after my pregnancies.

Now we're planning to get our next spa experience at The Spa in Trinoma.  Hopefully it's much better.
