Persia Grill

It's been a while since we last tried a different resto.  It was hard to choose because there are lots of restaurants at SM Skygarden, since hubby loves Kebabs, we tried Persia Grill.

Kanin Club

Kanin Club, at last..  Hubby and I have been craving for their Crispy Dinuguan and Kare Kare!!  This time, we visited their branch at UP Ayala Land TechnoHub.

Paseo

On our way home from Club Balai Isabel, we passed by Paseo.  I heard about this mall that has outlet stores, intriguing...  We had our late lunch there at Kanin Club, then, we saw John Lloyd Cruz and hi family having their lunch too!!!  I just had to take a picture with him..  I waited for him to finish his food before I asked for one..  Sweet...  I love him!

Omakase

Hubby has been raving about this Japanese restaurant since our kumpare brought him there.  We're not big on Japanese food, but this resto caught hubby!  He wanted me to try their Dynamite Roll.. He said it's a different kind of Maki, and it tastes really good.

Now, this is the Dynamite Roll!  It was indeed YUMMY!!  It has this crunchy thing inside.. Then you dip it in its own special sauce.. yummmm... Of course, we ordered other dishes from their menu like their Salmon Sashimi, Heart and Seoul Maki (it has Kimchi inside that's why I got curious, unique eh?!) and Momoiro Udun, this seafood pasta is sooo good, so creamy..)

By the way, we went to their Il Terrazo branch.  We're definitely going back for more!  So long, diet! :)  Hahahaha!

Mabini Bakeshop

One of my papa's favorite bakeshops, Mabini Bakeshop, it's one of the oldest restaurants here in Caloocan.  Every time he visits the store he'd always buy me halaya.  I love halaya and they have the yummiest freshly made halaya..
I like their cream puffs too especially when the fillings are still frozen.. yumyum!
Last week, we tried their food.  Hubby liked their roast beef, but the rest of them.. Pwede na.. We're too hungry and lazy to go far pa..
Old style resto

They use mugs as tissue holder

Pancit Bihon

Pritong Lumpia

Roast Beef (will try to do this soon!)

Lasagna (this one too!)
I still love their baked goodies..  More pictures next time as soon as papa goes back there for pasalubong!  Hahaha!

Empire Deli's Grand Opening

Photofun has an event for the grand opening of Empire Deli at The Venice Piazza.  It was a family event so we were also invited to try the new restaurant. We went there early so they can set up the photobooth in time.  While me and Kian waited at the playground, he loved it there 'cause there's a swing and lots of other kids that he can play with.  It was too windy!

Since it was a family event the Empire Deli had Inflatables,
snow cones, cotton candy and ice cream for the guests

They even invited the Philippine All Star Dancers to perform, they were really good! OMG! The girls were so so good! Their hips can move on its own! Hahahaha! Forgot to take a video though, 'cause I was so amazed with their performance.

Some of the Talk and Text basketball players (forgot their names!) were there too, they even had a sandwich eating contest.  The winner got Php 20,000.00 and will give it to charity.
I don't have pictures with them 'cause I'm too shy to ask.  I hope next time I won't be..

Here are some of the burgers that we tried, hubby tried their specialty burger 50/50, because it has 50% beef patty and 50% bacon, and it has an egg too. I'm not a fan of this one, it was juicy but bland.. i think the patty lacks more spices I guess, and I didn't even notice the bacon..
I forgot the name of this sandwich but it has ham, cheese, caramelized onions and pulled pork.  I kinda' like this one but too messy to eat..  the fries was okay tastes like frenchies?? The veggie salad was good though, I like its sweet and sour taste.
Their food was okay, I think it needs more identity.. the flavor was too common you can get it anywhere.  We were expecting a more flavorful burger, 'cause it was their specialty.

Anyway, we had fun. By the way, there are pigeons at 5 in the afternoon and you can feed them!  Kian got excited about it, and waited for them.  Cute!
With our kumare Ces,

Venice Piazza at night..
