Bon Chon Chicken & Johnny English

Oh yea! Another date night with hubby..
We watched Johnny English Reborn at Greenhills Promenade (by the way, was hilarious!) so we can also try Bon Chon Chicken.
Bon Chon is the famous chicken abroad which I think lots of Pinoys are getting hooked, I've seen it on Facebook, read about it on lots of blogs and I've seen their growing branches but this was the first time that we're gonna try it.
Mixed soy garlic and hot and spicy wings P185.00
calamari P125.00
french fries P45.00

Hubby's current favorite drink
Our verdict: Their chicken is so over-rated!! We expected too much from this chicken... It was okay, not something that we'd be excited to come back to or even crave for... I think we're just used to eating chicken that comes with a dip... Like gravy, sauces or even toyo/suka with sili!

I wanted to try Happy Lemon but the line was oh so looong and it was time for us to get inside the movie house..

*Next time!

Crazy, Stupid, Love.

Before we went out last night, we had to do Plyometric Cardio Circuit at home (we don’t wanna miss our scheduled workout).  Left the kids at home with my mother-in-law, then off we went to Greenbelt to meet our friends.

Starving, we tried to look for Bon Chon in Greenbelt, but it was closing time and it was raining so we decided to change plans and just eat at Banana Leaf at Greenbelt 3.

Hubby's Plate!
Just in time for the movie (11:20 PM), I thought it was just another funny love story because Steve Carell was in it.  You know, the usual..  But this one was different, it has its own twists, and Steve Carell made me cry!  (hubby still can’t believe he made me cry).  Maybe because the story touched me in so many ways and made me realized a lot (yea, I'm a sucker for love stories).  But he's still funny, actually, everyone was super funny.  Pansin ko lang, uso na talaga ang abs ‘coz Ryan Gosling has one that looked like it’s been “photoshopped”.  Hehehe!  Oh, even the kids were funny and kinda’ weird??  Which was okay 'coz they looked cute and we loved the movie!

Go watch it!!!!

Billiards

We really miss playing billiards, we haven’t played in quite a while.. I think the last time we played was December 2009.  It’s our favorite past time, it’s actually how me and my husband met, at a Billiard hall in Caloocan.  Here’s the real story, it was way back then when billiards was such a hit among Pinoys.  Hubby’s really good at it, while I was trying to learn.  We always hang out at this place in Caloocan called On the snap, a common friend introduced us not knowing that he liked me then ..  We became very close but just as friends, ‘cause he’s really funny, thoughtful and really caring for a friend.. Okay, I didn’t get the hint.. So stupid! Hahaha!  But then one day, he just told me that he liked me.. ♥♥♥  That’s how we started.. Cute!  J

So much about our love story, hubby asked me to go play billiards at Rolling Stone, in Morato.  I miss playing billiards and their Crispy pork “tenga” so we went!  I love hanging out with hubby ‘cause it still feels like we’re just bf/gf.  It’s just unfair that he’s still good at billiards while I looked like a stupid girl with a stick?  Hahahaha!  Anyway, it was fun!  We didn’t even notice the time, we went home around 3:00 AM.  Thanks Yaya!

The yummy crispy pork tenga! We had 2 beers each and a ripe mango shake!
