Khloe's 1st Movie Experience

It's getting too expensive for us to go to the movies! Hehehe!
We watched Monsters University in 3D at Trinoma, this is my bunso's first time.  So, we thought, hey, let's watch it in 3D..  But it was not a good idea for my 2 year old because she doesn't want to wear the glasses!!!  Errrr!!!
Anyway, we all had fun!  Love the movie.  Despicable Me 2 is next! ♥

Bon Chon Chicken & Johnny English

Oh yea! Another date night with hubby..
We watched Johnny English Reborn at Greenhills Promenade (by the way, was hilarious!) so we can also try Bon Chon Chicken.
Bon Chon is the famous chicken abroad which I think lots of Pinoys are getting hooked, I've seen it on Facebook, read about it on lots of blogs and I've seen their growing branches but this was the first time that we're gonna try it.
Mixed soy garlic and hot and spicy wings P185.00
calamari P125.00
french fries P45.00

Hubby's current favorite drink
Our verdict: Their chicken is so over-rated!! We expected too much from this chicken... It was okay, not something that we'd be excited to come back to or even crave for... I think we're just used to eating chicken that comes with a dip... Like gravy, sauces or even toyo/suka with sili!

I wanted to try Happy Lemon but the line was oh so looong and it was time for us to get inside the movie house..

*Next time!

Crazy, Stupid, Love.

Before we went out last night, we had to do Plyometric Cardio Circuit at home (we don’t wanna miss our scheduled workout).  Left the kids at home with my mother-in-law, then off we went to Greenbelt to meet our friends.

Starving, we tried to look for Bon Chon in Greenbelt, but it was closing time and it was raining so we decided to change plans and just eat at Banana Leaf at Greenbelt 3.

Hubby's Plate!
Just in time for the movie (11:20 PM), I thought it was just another funny love story because Steve Carell was in it.  You know, the usual..  But this one was different, it has its own twists, and Steve Carell made me cry!  (hubby still can’t believe he made me cry).  Maybe because the story touched me in so many ways and made me realized a lot (yea, I'm a sucker for love stories).  But he's still funny, actually, everyone was super funny.  Pansin ko lang, uso na talaga ang abs ‘coz Ryan Gosling has one that looked like it’s been “photoshopped”.  Hehehe!  Oh, even the kids were funny and kinda’ weird??  Which was okay 'coz they looked cute and we loved the movie!

Go watch it!!!!

Captain America

I ♥ Captain America!!!!!  So big and cute ni Chris Evans!  Ang cute ng storyline..  Thank goodness for hubby who knows just about anything..  About what he does, his song, the villain etc.  ♥ A little cheesy but hell, I’m a girl!  I want that! :)  So, watch it!!
By the way, make sure you stay 'til the very end of the credits.  Something exciting is coming up!  :)

Newport Cinema

Yehey!  We've watched a movie at Newport!!  Last week we saw Fast 5 and last was Pirates of the Caribbean.  I Johnny Depp!!  This movie is soo good, I was smiling the whole time.  We were kinda' missing Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, but it was replaced with a new love team, not with Captain Jack Sparrow though.  The movie's still about deception in any way they can!  So it was all adventure and suspense.  Anyway, they're showing "something" at the end of the movie, no biggie..  Wasn't something that we hoped for though..  Don't wanna spoil the fun, so go watch it!!
from Yahoo! movies
Oh!  By the way, we had some problems with the movie or theater, it was like it's skipping some scenes?  I just saw some movie clips that I didn't see in the movie?? Hmm..

Newport Cinema is operating 24 hours until May 22 for The Pirates of the Caribbean!  I love their theater, so small yet so comfy.  And the seats, because it doesn't make my knees hurt (I think it has something to do with the alignment of the chairs?).

From Newport:

Aren't they cute?! Hehehe!

Source Code

Movie date with hubby!! We watched Source Code last night at Trinoma, we had New York Fries and Dips (our favorite movie partner!) hubby had the usual gigantic duo P175.00 (combination of giant fries, giant drink and 3 dips) and I had their breakfast wrap P180.00 (for the large combo).  "Source Code", a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Capt. Colter Stevens, Michelle Monaghan as Christina Warren and Vera Farmiga as Colleen Goodwin.  It's kind of light action with a little suspense.  It resembles to Matrix with its "change/discover an event through another world" kind of movie.  But not as mind boggling as Matrix, just enough to keep you thinking.  I think it's more on drama because it's about a soldier having another chance to try to save a girl and the world.
Jake was so hot!  I love him!
